    Description

    Vintage Handpainted Shaving Mug from the early 1900's.  From the Kentucky Appalacian region.  Was presented by my grandmother who died in the 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic to her younger brother in law on his 15th birthday.  Believed to be from the very early 1900's to the late 1800's.  Handpainted design.  3 1/2 inches tall.  Diameter 10 inches.  There is a tiny gold painted symbol on the bottom that appears to be a number 5.  Very pretty vintage shaving mug.
