Vintage Baked Beans Crock With LID - Brown & Tan - Stoneware - Pot

Description

Vintage brown and tan crock for baked beans.  Lid is included.  This is a small crock with a bottom diameter of approximately 5".  There is one handle on the side of the crock.  The tip of the lid handle, bottom of the lid, rim and bottom of the crock are not glazed like the rest of the crock which lends a contrasting/ more rustic appearance to those areas.  The bottom of the crock shows some discoloration from use.  There are a couple digs in the finish to the right of the crock handle and some on the exterior lid rim.  Please refer to pictures for more details.
The finish of this piece has imperfections that do not impact its functioning and are common to salt glazed crocks, though we are not experts in the latter.  Accordingly, we have not noted every imperfection, color shift, bump, etc. as we find such aspects endearing and signs of this piece's uniqueness.  That said the buyer should review the description and all pictures in detail when making their buying decision.  Please message us if you have any questions.
