This Big Bore Extension is lifetime guaranteed and will be replaced free of charge if it ever fails in normal service - these are custom built in the USA by a company that builds many Harley Davidson transmission parts as well as ultra high performance racing parts for many auto racing categories
XT225 motors have more horsepower, 6 speed transmissions and 6 disc clutches but in order to install in a TW the output or countershaft needs to be extended which usually means finding a TW output shaft (which means finding a TW200 parts motor and taking the entire engine apart to get to the countershaft) and having special grooves machined (actually ground because the shaft is hardened) into it for C-clips and a special washer fabricated by a machinist then you had to split the entire motor in half and install the modified TW200 output shaft into the XT225 or TTR225 transmission
This "Big Bore Shaft Extension Adapter" simply slides over the original XT225 or TTR225 / TTR230 output shaft and fits into the outboard support bearing on a TW200 it also holds the standard Yamaha sprocket using all OEM retainers
Sale price includes the custom Big Bore Extension and a sealed outboard bearing to replace the factory ball bearings although you can also use the factory outboard bearing by packing it with grease which ever you prefer - please see the first picture in this listing to see what is included
The pictures show sprockets, multiple shafts to see different views and TW200 cases and XT225 output shafts but these are just to help show how this works they are not included in the selling price
Please note to swap an XT225 or TTR225 motor into a TW200 you will also need a left side engine case cover from a TW200 which holds the outboard bearing support for the Big Bore Conversion shaft to fit into
