The Supreme Hy-Drive 1600 features an energy efficient hybrid magnetic / direct drive motor, specifically designed to run continuously and operate quietly. This pump is extremely versatile, able to be used in both salt and fresh water, indoors and outdoors, as well as submersed or inline.
Fish-safe due to its lack of oil. Designed for continuous duty operation, this pump is high-capacity and compatible with use in larger pond installations or multi-tank aquariums. With its included filter, this pump is additionally resistant to clogging and damage from solid particles. The next generation HY-Drive design combines the benefits of magnetic and direct-drive technologies to deliver an extremely quiet, energy efficient, low maintenance pumping source.
As this pump contains no oil, it is perfectly safe for fish, plants, as well as other aquatic life - perfect for aquariums! Features a built-in filter screen, helping to resist clogs. The rotor is constructed from stainless steel, which provides resistance from corrosion and wear.
