. The Pliers were issued as a unique commemorative celebrating the 125 years that Klein Tool had been providing quality tools to the construction industry. Issued in 1982 to specialty suppliers to the construction industry. Pliers measure 9 1/2" with most of that length in the handles.That extended handle was what made these a favorite with the industry. It created a incredible amount of leverage and allowed the lineman or wireman to cut wire much larger than they could with other sidecutters.
The tool came to me in 1982 as a appreciation of my support of the Klein Tools and the Electrical Industry. I have only seen 1 other like it since on line. It has a soft felt bag with yellow drawstring closures and has a logo and note of the 125th Anniversary.
The tool itself is standard high quality Klein Forged Steel with a very high polished chrome finish, the tool has the Klein Logo of a "Lineman on a Pole" with Klein Trade Mark centered on the pivot point. the reverse side has the logo and the 125th Year Banner also centered on the pivot point. The tool has never been used for any purpose. The finish to the handles, head, knurled surface and cutting edge surfaces are with out a scratch, flaw or blemish of any kind. Absolutely in "Mint" condition.
