    Description

    Offered here is a Collins PM-2 power supply and speaker unit for the KWM-2 and similar radios.  This unit works but is in need of restoration so is being sold as a parts unit.  The unit comes as shown and includes the thumb screws and associated hardware for attaching to the radio.
    I recently acquired this unit with a KWM-2A but am letting the PM-2 go since I prefer the external 516F-2 power supply and speaker.
    This PM-2 is a later version with the voltage doubler circuit used for the 800V supply. It has had the filter caps in the 800V and variable bias supplies replaced but NOT the dual 40uF cap can in the 275V supply.  I would recommend that the buyer do that.  Also, I would recommend that all the rectifier diodes be replaced with modern higher PIV rated diodes.
