    7/18/1949 MAXIE DOCUSEN versus JOEY BARNUM BOXING PROGRAM with historic article written  by Sports Editor of the Item  LLOYD "HAP" GLAUDI on the (4) four year legal battle won by the DOCUSEN  brothers against the City of New Orleans ; which Judge RENE A. VIOSCA ordered that the birth records be corrected to reflect that the DOCUSEN brothers were sons of a full - blood white mother and a Filipino father --- and that they were not part NEGRO.    THIS ALLOWED THE DOCUSEN BROTHERS TO RETURN HOME TO NEW ORLEANS ( after 4 years of exile ) & RESUME FIGHTING AGAINST WHITE OPPONENTS.   WHAT A GREAT WELCOME HOME FOR THE DOCUSEN BROTHERS   !!!.
