    RARE HISTORIC DOG BREED ART PRINT, from Hugh Dalziel's epic British Dogs book, 2nd Edition, 1886, and also included in each auction are the original entire chapter of text on the breed at auction from this fantastic, historic book. NOTE: Two additional Pointer Prints included with this auction!
    This Auction is for the Breed: English Pointer in a landscape. Condition: Excellent - minor wear from previous handling in some cases. The print picture is the print you're BUYING!! Dog's name and ownership are clearly printed on each of these fantastic prints!
    This is an original page of a book of dogs of the hunt (including sight hounds, scent hounds, pointers, retrievers, spaniels, and terriers) published in the UK, 1886 Second Edition. Hugh Dalziel's British Dogs. 5.25" x 8.25" page format, so most print sizes are 8.25" wide by 5.25" high as most are horizontal formatted. Highly collectible and rarely found, the book this print is from is extremely rare, and can rarely be found, selling for HUNDREDS of dollars, currently. Please bookmark this auction, there is only ONE of each of these original prints available at this time!
    The format of the book was oblong, 8.25" long x 5.25" high is the sheet size, the image is basically centered on each page, and the image size is 7.25" long x 4.5" high on the white sheet, note that the old papers are slightly age toned, but the picture shown is the actual print(s) in the auction.
