    Description

Offered here is a new regulated power supply I built rated at 12.8 VDC at 468 amps maximum output.
    Yes 468
    amps at 12.8 VDC producing
    6000
    watts
of power. This power supply is tested using 110 VAC having been supplied 20 amps it produced 175 amps at 12.69 VDC output. Has a very minimal voltage drop at high amperage draws. More than likely a result of being ran on the 110 vac. Use 208 VAC when your anticipating high amperage use.The power supply is capable of much more when run on 208 VAC.
The fan circuits are variable speed set by temperature of power supply. When there's no load they run almost undetected as the units produce more power the power supply heats up and they increase cooling fan speed.
The built-in voltage and amperage meter is reference only its not as accurate as a fluke meter and is a couple points off. There are two large terminals on the back of the supply for hooking up your power cables. The built in meter reads both voltage output and amperage output, the meter changes every few seconds between voltage and amperage readings. Right by the positive output terminal is a toroid coil to pass your positive cable through prior to hooking it up to the output positive terminal. Do this if you want to read amperage output. The built in meter has a 400 amp limit. The unit itself has two twenty amp 110/208 VAC circuit breakers for protection mounted by the on/off switch on the front panel of the unit.
The rear power socket will accept both 110vac and 208vac cords.
The power socket on the back is wired for polarized plugs. If you don't know what this means you need to read up on it before using this power supply to ensure your outlet wont damage the unit. Improperly wired cords will do damage to this supply.
The cords supplied with the unit are the correct type. Be sure your power outlet / outlets your going to plug into are properly wired for correct polarization. Be very careful when wiring additional loads not to short the positive and negative together.
    Always shut the unit off
    to wire additional loads
    .
This power supply produces amperage that can KILL
    .
When you purchase this unit you agree to release me of all liability associated with the power supply and the use and operation of said power supply.
The power supply has fail-safe built in with short to ground sensing circuit and the unit will shut off
if a ground fault is detected. Do not rely on this circuit to protect yourself from not shutting it off to wire additional loads. Things fail and that is how accidents happen. You will need to have a 208 VAC outlet 6-20P is what cord is supplied in order to use the supplied 208 VAC cord or change out the cord end to different style 208 plug. This is a outstanding power supply to run those huge loads for the solid state Linear amplifiers. It will run a 18 pill 2SC2879 amplifier. Please ask all questions. See my Feedback you know I don't sell junk!!! Measurements 4.5" x 11" x 13.5" an extremely compact power supply that produces 468 amps @ 12.8 VDC power supply. The power supply is rated at 468 amps and will run all day long at 400 amps. The power supply actually runs at 92% efficient at the 400 amp output level. Again I will Included a 110 VAC cord and a 208 VAC cord with the purchase of the power supply.
The Power supply is being offered with a 7 day warranty. Warranty begins once I receive notice the package was delivered. This should give the buyer ample time to test the unit and determine it works as described. What is not covered by the warranty is damage caused by the user,IE: Improper voltage, Non polarized outlets, shorting of the output terminals, being dropped, being smashed, physical damage to the unit. Should the unit arrive with obvious shipping damage refuse it. So if the box arrives crushed refuse it so the damage is paid for by the carrier. The unit has tamper proof warranty stickers applied to the external case and internal components, do not remove them, removing them nullifies any implied warranty.
Please email any questions you may have and I will answer them.
    Thanks for looking.
